Sparkour

Sparkour is a PC game developed by Casey under Reeline Studios. Sparkour is a first person racing game, where 4 players compete with each other in a foot race, using parkour-inspired mechanics such as wall-running to navigate the levels. This is all set in a minimalistic, arcade-y game world, with powerups to pick up along the way to heighten the tension between players.

For 3 years, Casey has been essentially developing the game on his own, from the programming and art, to the animation, marketing, and design. Casey's proudest contribution is his arcade-style movement that has received a lot of positive feedback, and allows for tight movements. Players are also quick to comment on the clear and direct art style, which is minimalistic but helps players swiftly find their way through the levels with ease.

While still in development, Sparkour has already caused quite a murmur in the gaming community. The game was first announced on Steam Greenlight, where just within a week it was approved for sale on Steam. While the game remains in development, a demo was released in 2017 to the sound of over 10,000 players! Thanks to the helpful feedback from players and testers alike, Casey has fine tuned the game into a sleek and clean experience, that plays well and shows promise nearing it's release.

Casey also has marketed the game entirely by himself. His biggest Whether it's for local developer meetups in Minnesota, or fun public conventions like 2DCon, Casey has used his past experience in sales to build a conversation between himself and the players, and learn more about what they desire in a first person runner like Sparkour.
